Made with 100% soy wax, natural cotton wick (metal free) and high quality fragrance oils. Soy wax will "frost" - not always, but sometimes. It does not affect the quality of the candle whatsoever. In fact, a candle buyer that knows of the benefits of soy wax will appreciate seeing the "frosting" -- it means the candle is truly 100% soy :)
**note** see last picture for "mason" jar vs. "smooth" jar. they're the same size by candle volume and burn time
